Mission Statement
Our mission at Cat Guardians TNR & Rescue is to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome abandoned, abused, and homeless cats in Salinas, California. We are committed to improving the lives of cats through compassionate care, fostering responsible pet ownership, and reducing the number of stray and feral cats through education and outreach.
We are a certified 501(c)(3) public charity organization. Donations to our organization may be tax-deductible under federal law.

HELPING CATS & WORKING ON
ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUES
We have been helping our community's stray cats since 2021, and our organization was officially incorporated in December 2024. We are the only cat rescue based in Salinas that consistently generates efforts towards addressing the multitude of problems that affect stray cats: unsustainable population growth, dangerous living conditions, diseases, parasites, abandonment, and more.
- ✔100% of donations go directly to feeding, housing, and TNR of cats.
- ✔We operate with integrity at all times and ensure our activities are transparent.
As a public charity, our ability to rescue and provide care for more cats depends on the generosity of our community. We rely on adoptions and donations to create space for new rescues.
